What does BYOK actually mean?

You bring your own keys for OpenAI, Deepgram, ElevenLabs (or substitutes). They charge you directly at their published rates, and Voxif never marks up a provider token. Voxif's own platform fee is scoped to your call volume and deployment. Request a demo and we'll quote it for you.

Can I bring my own SIP trunk?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Telnyx, Twilio, Plivo, or Bandwidth work today. We provision the LiveKit SIP trunk in your name and route both inbound and outbound through your carrier.

What languages does the agent speak?

Accepted Answer

Any language your STT/TTS providers cover. With Deepgram Nova-3 + GPT-4o + ElevenLabs, that's 30+ languages including English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Mandarin, and Japanese.

Are recordings stored? For how long?

Accepted Answer

Transcripts are stored encrypted at rest until you delete them. Audio recordings are off by default — you opt in per campaign. Recordings are stored in your S3-compatible bucket (you can BYO bucket) and deleted on the schedule you configure.

Is Voxif TCPA / GDPR compliant?

Accepted Answer

Voxif gives you the technical guardrails (consent capture, do-not-call lists, recording disclosure, time-window enforcement) — but YOU are the data controller and responsible for verifying calls comply with your jurisdiction's rules. We sign DPAs with enterprise customers on request.

Can I export my data? Talk transcripts, contacts, recordings?

Yes. Every transcript, contact, and call log is exportable as CSV or JSON from the dashboard. Recordings are downloadable as MP3. No platform lock-in.

Question 8

What happens if my OpenAI key gets rate-limited mid-call?

Accepted Answer

Voxif falls back to your configured backup model (Claude, Groq, local) if you've set one. If no fallback is configured, the call ends gracefully with a configurable hand-off message. You see the incident in your dashboard.

Can I self-host Voxif on my own infrastructure?

Accepted Answer

Self-host is on the roadmap for enterprise customers — Voxif ships as a Docker compose stack today and the architecture is single-tenant ready. Contact us if you need on-prem for compliance.
