Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to delete data Voxif holds. Two audiences are covered: (a) businesses (our Customers) who use Voxif to run voice or WhatsApp automation on their own account, and (b) end users (callers or WhatsApp contacts) whose data was processed while interacting with one of our Customers.
For businesses disconnecting from Voxif
If you are a Voxif Customer and want to delete your organization and all data Voxif holds on your behalf:
- Sign in to app.voxif.tech, open Settings, and choose Delete organization. Follow the on-screen confirmation.
- Or email privacy@voxif.tech from the address on your Voxif account, with the subject
Delete my Voxif organization, and include your organization ID (visible in the dashboard footer).
What gets deleted:
- All call recordings, transcripts, and WhatsApp message threads processed on your behalf.
- All contact lists and knowledge-base documents you uploaded.
- All encrypted provider API keys and SIP credentials you configured.
- All user accounts, memberships, and access tokens for your organization.
- All webhook subscriptions and campaign configurations.
What is retained (and why):
- Billing records for 7 years, as required by tax and accounting law. Stored in encrypted form and not used for any other purpose.
- Aggregated, anonymized service metrics that cannot be traced back to your organization (call counts, latency percentiles, error rates).
Deletion completes within 30 days of a valid request. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is finished.
For WhatsApp Business Platform disconnection
If your business connected its WhatsApp Business Account to Voxif and now wants to disconnect:
- In the dashboard, open the WhatsApp integration and choose Disconnect. This revokes Voxif’s access to your WhatsApp Business Account immediately.
- You can also revoke Voxif directly from the Meta Business Manager under Business settings → Integrations → Business Apps.
- To also delete WhatsApp message threads Voxif stored on your behalf, follow the “disconnecting from Voxif” steps above.
For end users (callers or WhatsApp contacts)
If you interacted with a business that uses Voxif (received a call, or exchanged WhatsApp messages), that business is the controller of your data. Voxif is only the processor.
- Contact the business directly. They can delete your data from their Voxif dashboard at any time.
- If the business cannot be reached, email privacy@voxif.tech with (a) the business name if known, (b) the date of the interaction, and (c) the phone number or WhatsApp number involved. We will locate the record and delete it, or forward the request to the responsible business, within 30 days.
- You will receive email confirmation once deletion is complete.
Meta / Facebook data deletion
Voxif does not store Facebook Login credentials or profile data. If you granted Voxif access via Meta Business Login and want to revoke that access, open Settings > Business Integrations on your Facebook / Meta account and remove Voxif.
